I've had the little president Bill installed in my wife's car for the last year now and while it works great paired to the New Yorker Antenna, It was rarely used since my wife just isn't as much of a fan of CB as I am.
Enter the VW Rabbit Pickup Truck Build. I purchased a center console for it and there certainly was some space to add a CB so after a little soul searching I decided to swap the radio from her car in to mine! The results are great! The Bill is a super compact feature packed radio and mating it to a old fashioned tired and true 102 whip has made for a great combo. I've made local and DX contacts already and the truck isn't even on the road yet! The whole setup looks and sounds great and I'm sure this little radio will be giving me years of good use with my "New" pickup.
