Bench Overview: Quick look at Choyong R1 Shortwave Radio with Bluetooth. It's one Classic looking Radio! in the shop.
This radio reminds me of better times. The real wood finish has a look and feel that cannot be duplicated with plastic and rubber. The cloth that covers the speaker is a near match to the one on my 1934 Ward Airline Radio. It is a beauty to look at.
The sound on this is nice as well. A good tone that has some adjustment in it for various ears. While I miss the AM radio option, Shortwave reception is good with the built in antenna and really good once hooked to my MLA-30.
