It's been years since I had the opportunity to play with a FTA (Free To Air) Satellite system. My old 10 foot C band dish setup was Massive and impressive. With it, I could literally watch the world. Sadly I had to leave it behind when I made my move to the mountains years ago. Now I'm back in the hobby with this 39 inch KU band dish setup.
While nowhere near as impressive to look at, Tech had come a long way in those 7 years and this thing has impressed me big time! 100's of channels and 1000's of backhauls and live feeds await you if you are willing to spend a few hours in the yard setting one of these up, and the best part is they are not an expensive thing to play with.

In part two I'll show the setup of this dish and how I set it up to recieve 1 Sat, and in part 3, I'll add a motor to the dish so I can watch the entire Clark belt from my little farm!
