I picked up a few of these old wooden Lowe's display boxes the last time I was in town. They are made of soft pine and are held together with staples.
The units are easy to disassemble and I decided to convert one to a firewood holder for my garage. The other will go on to become another chicken brooder for the spring.

They were throwing them away and I noticed them sitting outside the garden center.
