I came across this late 80's model CDV-715 Giger counter and CDV 742 dosimeter combo kit called the CDV-777-2 kit at the Hillsville,VA flea market last summer.
Like a lot of "peppers", a giger counter and dosimeters is something I've thought about getting since the mid 80's, and much more so after the tragic events at Fukushima in Japan. Today we will take a look at this kit, and talk about the realities of living in a world where one might need one.
