Well, like all good things this project has run its course.

I had a great time learning about every nut and bolt on the Yugo, but it was time to say goodbye. I put about 3000 miles on her the year I owned it, and I enjoyed almost every mile of it. The Yugo will always be remembered by the American masses as "The Worst Car Ever Built", but for me the truth will always be a different story.

The Yugo was a practical commuter car with a few minor, easily fixable flaws. It was nothing more, and certainly nothing less. I'm happy that I had the opportunity to own one and to cross it off my "Bucket list" of cars that I'd like to drive.
