Since the first time I saw my little farm, I knew that I wanted to eventually move fully off the grid with it. Early on we looked at several solar setups, but these things are not cheap and at the time, the farm needed other items much more immediately. 6 years later, the farm still has needs, but the dream of having it all operate with "No strings attached" has stayed in my mind.
Research, other YouTubers advice and a lot of guess work has led me to what you see here today. 800 Watts of HSQT panels, a 60 amp charge controller, 2000 watts of pure sine 120 volt AC, and the most painful part. a 24 volt 220ah 5.34kwa Lithium Ion battery pack.

The plan is to start with this and then every year or so double it until we hit 3.2K and a total of 21 kwa In battery storage. While we work towards that goal, I'll be slowing replacing and upgrading the remaining electronic items in the house with more efficient models.
