Bench Overview: Quick look at Vintage Tandy 102 Computer. What A Neat Find! in the shop.

Found this gem at a flea market a while back. It's a Radio Shack TRS-102. These were very popular back in the day,and for good reason.
While IBM "portables" existed, they weighed in at around 30lbs and had to be plugged in to work.
Not this thing. Its light, runs many hours off of a simple pair of AA batteries and came loaded with a few programs, 24K of battery backed memory and a 300 bauf modem!
Sounds weak by todays standard, but back in the day it was great!

There are still fan clubs, upgrades, and software scattered around the net for these things and they can fetch a pretty penny if they are clean.
