Well, After almost 31 years of waiting I have finally found myself a Yugo.
These little cars have often been refereed to as "The Worst Car Ever Built" And even had a book of the same name penned about them a few years back.

The truth is a little harder to see. The fact is that they were not even close to the worst car ever built, and with a little love and the occasional pair of dirty hands, they can last for quite a long time.

This will be my winter project. Last year I restored a 1974 VW Super Beetle, and have since parted ways with it. This car will not be getting a full restoration. Instead I will be doing an interior refresh, and it will get a mechaincial restoration. I've decided not to put any money or time into the body for two reasons. First, its in pretty good shape for its age, and second A Yugo isn't supposed to be perfect.
These cars were made to be cheap reliable transpertaion, and I intend to use it as such starting next spring.
