I realized that I've never really talked much about the Kubota BX that I bought a little over 18 months ago. It's been a handy addition to the farm and had aloowed me to reduce the amount of time needed to do many tasks. It has also allowed me to do a few projects that I never could have done without it.
The biggest question I had when I bought it was "Do I need the backhoe?" It adds a lot of expense to the unit and takes up room when not in use.
After 18 months of use and a little over 100 hours, I can say that Yes, It was worth it. The backhoe is great when needed and I've needed it enough that I would buy it again.
