After an inexcusable delay, it's finally time to compare the AM vs SSB range of the McKinley rado. The Mobile antenna used was a TRAM 3500 and the base setup is the same as all my other videos (To try and give a fair review) i hooked up the old Antron A99 to my Uniden 980.
The results were good. Great for about 8 miles, then fair all the way our to 12 and even a clear message at 15 miles! I have really loved this radio!
