Needed to swap out a bad axle on our 2005 Outlander. The job shown here is very similar to just about 90% of front wheel drive cars and SUV's. The cost of taking this in and having it done would have been around $500. I got the axle for less than $100. The only special tool needed for this job is the axle socket, it can be found at Harbor Freight for around $12.00.
